As a Los Angeles native, I began my journey toward wellness when I moved to Arkansas in 2013 to work in sustainable agriculture. Discovering the benefits of not only growing fresh food, but also eating good food, triggered such a waterfall of curiosity for me. I fell in love with feeling good! I started practicing yoga and began running - but an unfortunate shoulder accident left me feeling stumped and in constant pain.

After five years in agri and a horrible bum shoulder, I leaped into massage therapy in 2018. I was blessed with amazing teachers who taught me that pain can be dramatically reduced through bodywork. After getting licensed, pain and posture became my mantra, and couldn't stop learning about muscles and movement,

I became certified in scar therapy and have worked to clear restrictions for nerve dysfunction. I worked in a chiropractic office where I helped people with carpal tunnel, sciatic pain, TOS, and so much more. I'm a certified medical massage therapist, have taken countless hours on posture analysis, am certified in lymphatic drainage, deep tissue, and include modalities like structural integration, SMRT, myoskeletal alignment, direct/indirect, and myofascial release technique. I can't tell you how many people I've worked with, but I can tell you I love my job. This is my passion. This is my career, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

As I continue to build my tiny little business, I continue hoping that I can help my community through massage and bodywork. I strive to not only reduce pain but to reduce stress as well. My medical massages are my bread and butter, but I still love a slow and relaxing massage fit to your needs.

Helping you stay happy & healthy,

Katie J.
